Meditation. Mindfulness. Peace. Breathwork. Many of us encounter these buzzwords throughout our daily lives, but what do they mean to you? How do you define them? How do you experience them?
How you describe or achieve these concepts may be less important than the mental and physical states themselves. The experience is uniquely yours, like your fingerprint. It's important to give yourself opportunities to have that unique experience. Opportunity could be social or solitary; it could be physical; it could be as small as a moment of self-reflection.
My sister, Sarah, created this video from imagery that evokes peace for her. She used a recording of our brother Joah playing a tongue drum whose voice he finds pleasing and she added sounds of nature that she finds centering.
